My family has a lot of traditions during this time. The first one is to have secret santa. All adults draw a name and give away their gifts to the person the got. Next one is whoever gets to my aunts house first gets a prize for being on time. We also have a baking contest. Whoever has the best desert gets a prize . We have been doing these traditions for as long as I can remember. Merry Christmas!

Freshman WHS Playmakers will present their Family Theatre Play, "Mother Goose has Flown the Coop," this Friday & Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the Washington High School Auditorium. Tickets are only $3.00 and children under 5 are free. The show is less than 40 minutes and is suitable for the whole family. The box office will open at 6:00 and the seating area at 6:30. Go support the show! Here is a brief synopsis from PioneerDrama.com: "Of course the Mother Goose characters in this delightful mystery are familiar to young children, but we guarantee that older kids will love the puns and tongue-in-cheek humor flying through this fractured fairy tale farce. What really happened to all those nursery rhyme and fairy tale characters? Just why did Jack and Jill go up the hill? What was it that hit Henny Penny in the head to make her think the sky was falling? And most importantly, who is the sinister figure in black that everyone sees but no one can catch? Sergeant Frank Hickory and his partner, Diddle Dickory, find themselves faced with the first crime wave to ever hit Fairy Tale Island. For answers, they go to who else but the Fairy Godmother, an Italian character who seems to help out everyone. Alas, she knows nothing about the biggest mystery of all... Where is Mother Goose?! She has totally vanished, and all Frank and Diddle have to go on is a bucket, a few feathers and a cosmetics bottle. Calling for only a few set pieces, this easy-to-stage mystery will tickle the funny bones of all ages! " Simone Henry
